Overview

 

This post provides a fantastic opportunity for the postholder to work with a small team of like minded professionals in supporting the Management School to maintain its prestigious Triple Crown accreditation and work closely with the Senior Leadership team in implementing a reputation rankings’ strategy to improve the School’s reputation globally. The successful applicant will have a good honours degree, or equivalent experience, previous administrative experience, ideally in higher education, and a strong interest in the collation, analysis and presentation of data.

 

Main duties and responsibilities

 

Accreditation

  • Provide support for the Data and Accreditation Manager in meeting the administrative requirements of Triple Crown accreditors (AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB) including, but not limited to, organisation of Peer Review re-accreditation visits, preparation of base rooms, preparation of reports and submission of yearly surveys.

  • Support the work of the Senior Executive Team in regular reporting on progress towards meeting institutional Key Performance Indicator targets and School measures. 

  • Act as an advisor and ambassador for Triple Crown accreditation and rankings to the School. 

  • Liaise with the Senior Education Officer in ensuring accurate data collation to meet the requirements of the professional accrediting bodies.

 

Reputation and Rankings

  • Support the Senior Executive Team in the implementation of the School’s rankings strategy.

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of rankings requirements and methodologies, in order to best advise the School Executive Team.

  • Engage and build relationships with rankings bodies representatives and rankings professionals, including attendance at relevant rankings-focused events and seminars.

  • Take responsibility for rankings data collection, analysis and submissions. 

  • Provide rankings and benchmarking reports to the School's Senior Executive Team and Executive Board to inform future actions and policies as well as evaluate potential School-level international partnerships.

  • Identify and maintain an archive of information likely to be pertinent to rankings, or other information gathering, undertake data analysis to identify changes and trends for the School.

  • Support the School to improve rankings performance by identifying necessary improvements in School activities and processes, working with the Associate Dean Internationalisation and Reputation in coordinating related projects to address these improvements.

  • Work with the School’s External Engagement team, supporting alumni data  gathering.

  • Collaborate with relevant Professional Services teams on relevant rankings-focussed projects.

  • Liaise with the central University Planning team team to ensure a strong understanding of the data available in the University and the best way of utilising this to meet reporting needs.

 

Other duties

  • Produce and maintain written documentation detailing processes and procedures related to own role, to enable cover in absence.

  • Provide cover for elements of work undertaken by colleagues during absence.
