• Lead on the creation of detailed work plans for all events for colleagues ensuring internal and external parties are capable of achieving coordinated success.

• Perform detailed research to compare CI’s across UK and Europe to establish best practice and drive innovation.

• Oversee the organisation, promotion and delivery of virtual events.

• Develop an effective internal communications plan for the CI that reaches relevant stakeholders across the University.

• Write copy for a number of promotional publications and purposes, including the University and CI newsletters and support for external partnerships board meeting documentation.

• Responsible for ensuring that content is up-to-date and accurate with the relevant key messages and refreshing digital and physical materials as appropriate.

• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends in marketing and event management and issues affecting international audiences, participating in internal meetings and project groups, external networks and attending events and conferences where appropriate.

• Any other duties, commensurate with the grade and remit of the post.
