Overview
IT Services at the University of Sheffield provide a full range of complex IT and technology-enabled services that support education, research, workplace, corporate services and infrastructure enablers to all our staff and students. This large and highly innovative department is undergoing a significant amount of change as it establishes itself as a key enterprise IT partner that works across the University, with stakeholders and key partners to deliver enterprise-wide products and services in line with strategic aims.
Main duties and responsibilities

Work with Product Teams, Developers and other colleagues to support, design, develop, test and enhance a range of mission critical student applications

Develop systems using best practice methods

Contribute to the development of policies, procedures and plans within IT Services and in supported areas

Work with external providers to integrate systems

Prioritise user requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders and Product Managers

Assist the Student Systems Team Leaders with any other projects as required

Keep abreast of developments in the sector via conferences, forums, webinars and mail lists, sharing information with other team members.
