Overview
The School of Psychology at the University of Sheffield delivers postgraduate and undergraduate programmes across a range of academic and clinical/applied areas of psychology. Our teaching equips graduates with an advanced understanding and the key skills needed in their chosen careers. The Clinical and Applied Psychology Unit operates within the School of Psychology and delivers a range of applied postgraduate courses, including the NHS Talking Therapies programmes (PG Dip in High Intensity Psychological Interventions and PG Cert in Low Intensity Interventions) along with other short courses such as Anxiety and Depression Long Term Conditions (LTC) short courses.
We are seeking to recruit a qualified therapist to this University Teacher post. This post is open to part-time applicants, with the primary focus being teaching on, and helping to run our short courses. The successful applicant will contribute to the high-quality teaching and training that is provided to NHS Talking Therapies trainees and ideally will have experience in the delivery of low and high intensity CBT. It will be necessary for the applicant, or one of the applicants if the role is job-shared, to hold BABCP accredited status.
